Module 8 Lesson 2
Harley-Davidson or Harley, is an American motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1903 in Wisconsin. It was one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression. Harley-Davidson is noted for a style of customization that gave rise to the chopper motorcycle style.

The company has survived numerous ownership arrangements, subsidiary arrangements, periods of poor economic health and product quality, and intense global competition to become one of the world's largest motorcycle manufacturers and an iconic brand widely known for its loyal following.
Hello, everybody! I believe you've had a cup of coffee and some sweet snack recently to make your brain work before the class?

If I don't eat chocolate, I get tired soon. There are no sweets at hand, actually, so, when I finishwriting this module I'll go to the shop to buy some. My mom always says: 'If you didn't consume that much sugar, you would look much better!' Once I set an experiment and lived keeping off sweets for a month. As a result I felt much better and lost three kilos. If I hadn't kept to that sugar-free diet, I wouldn't have lost the weight...

Second Conditional
Impossible things in the present / unlikely things in the future

1. The average age of population is rising. It happens because quality of life is improving. People eat more nutrients and vitamins and live longer. If people didn't eat good food and vitamins, they wouldn't live that long.

2. Obesity is becoming more widespread. It happens because people eat much fast food. If we don't cut on junk food, more and more people with extra weight will appear.
